Norfolk Day - Rosie shares her favourite spots

In honour of Norfolk day we sat down with our co-founder & Norfolk Insider Rosie to find out all her favourite hidden spots for the perfect Norfolk Adventure

Best Places to stay?

The Gunton Arms for priceless art, mouth-watering food, and views across the deer park.

Best Breakfast?

Siding Yard in Melton Constable for the best croissants and sourdough on the British Isles. The lady who runs it trained at a Boulangerie in Paris and the quality of the pastries is unbelievably good. Another favourite is The Old Stores in Snettisham, they use only locally sourced produce, serving delicious things in or on bread, a great spot for brunch.

Post Breakfast Stroll?

Holkham beach (though we prefer to allow the horses to take on the work, while we enjoy the stunning views).

Shopping Trip?

Burnham Market or Holt definitely.

Lazy Lunch?
The Brisley Bell. Just make sure you are seated in the lovely old rooms.
.
Afternoon Culture Trip?

The ruins of Castle Acre – both the castle and the priory – are a hidden gem, & The majestic grounds of Houghton Hall have exhibited some exciting and world-level sculpture, including Henry Moore & Richard Long.

Dinner with friends?
Bedingfeld Arms is a family run pub opposite the fine Tudor Oxburgh Hall & Socius in Burnham Market are firm favourites & the perfect spot to spend an evening with great company.
