One of our greatest joys is the opportunity to work with specialist factories around the British Isles. Be it leatherwork and knitwear or waterproofing and pattern cutting, we see first hand the talent and craftsmanship on offer and we are proud to say that we make every TROY design here in Great Britain.
Working within Britain helps us keep our carbon footprint low, it means we miss out on the large emissions from bulk overseas shipping and do not have to meet their vast minimum order numbers, allowing us to craft in small, thoughtful batches.
Wherever possible we also use British-made fabric and trims, such as our branded poppers, another way we can support fantastic British businesses.
Vicky's team at Caledonian expertly sandwich and quilt our wadding (made from 80% recycled plastic waste) which is then used to craft our cosy puffer coats and quilted gilets.
Upender and his skilled team at Beaver of Bolton are seam sealing experts and craft all of our Men's and Women's Wax Parkas. Having been with us from the beginning of TROY he has watched the business grow from our first ever production order.
We have also proudly partnered with fellow British Brands on some spectacular collaborations over the years, including our Br'it' Knit with Brora, crafted using Scottish wool in a family-run Scottish Mill in very limited numbers.
